Ingenium Training and Consulting
Limerick’s Georgian heritage has been given a 21st century makeover by management training and consultancy company Ingenium.
Renovation without Compromise
A complex renovation of a landmark city centre building has set the standard for similar regeneration projects.
The ‘68 Project’ involved a complete transformation of the four-storey over basement building at 68 O’Connell Street into a significant city centre commercial campus. Every inch of this Georgian building has been restored to the highest of standards.
This work included a new contemporary extension to the rear of the building, with a generous sized apartment on the top floor and a Mews music recording studio.

Blended style environment
A Canteen that works
Drawing its inspiration from the surroundings, the canteen is an area of escape complete with wall mounted TV and bar stools that flows naturally. The stylish design of the stool is characterised by its lines and the ergonomic contour, which is based on the shapes of the human body.
Ingenium chief executive Dr. James Ring said that the 68 Project was not just proof of the company’s investment in Limerick’s home-grown talent but to be a “stunning statement that showcases beautifully the foundation of who we are as a company and what we represent: Integrity, collaboration, excellence, innovation and most importantly, a passion for people.”
Open Plan and Open Minds

All staff will sit on ergonomic top of the range task chairs with an innovative tri-panel mesh backrest that provides custom back and lumbar support and a lightweight design, Diffrient World is, like all of Humanscale’s products, simple, beautiful and functional.
The design eliminates the need for traditional mechanisms, instead using the laws of physics and the sitter’s body weight to offer perfect recline for each individual sitter. Diffrient World offers the ultimate user-friendly sitting experience.
Collaboration is key for a company like Ingenium, their workspace isn’t just open plan for design sake. The space also has to provide a function where staff can share ideas, work together and create innovative solutions.
